The team at Alternative Armies is small and we try to do our best all of the time.  We value every single customer and order when you choose to spend your hard earned money with us.  This is a wee notice to tell you that, as we do each year, we are taking just over a week to do annual maintenance as well as rotational breaks for the lads.  Production, Website and Social Media will cease from Wednesday 18th May to Saturday 28th May.  Our office and email will continue but we will be silent online.  Orders will resume shipping on the Monday once production starts up again.  We will then respond to all social media questions too.  After this our office will take a similar break and be covered by those returned.

USEME UM016 6mm Science Fiction rules released

Back in April we put an article on on our BLOG with lots of new painted images of the great Bradley Miniatures 6mm science fiction range.  As well as the lovely looks we teased the appearance of a new USEME title in the series.  That new title is here; written by Vic Dobson who has created many free scenarios for USEME Starship Battles and USEME 15mm Science Fiction too (you can download these on the website). Pocket sized and still just 3.50GBP for a set of rules USEME is great fun. While the new rules feature the Bradley Miniatures range they are generic  in which you can use all your miniatures.  This is our sole release in May for this scale and genre.

UM016 USEME 6mm Science Fiction:  As with all the titles in the series this is a fast play one six sided dice set of rules for skirmish or battle level with your 6mm miniatures and also solo play too.  Single or linked games, create your forces and formulate campaigns with a simple set of points values applied to vehicle and troop types.  Optional rules and also four free scenarios which are hosted on its page on the website. Alternia Future Warrior free in orders during May 2022

 “The future ain't what it used to be...”

Welcome to the fifth month of 2022 and this May it is the fifth of a dozen (one each month all year) 28mm scale Alternia miniatures free in every package sent out from Scotland to customers.  Place your order, as many as you wish, she will automatically be included each time.  Any size of order the only exception is no digital only orders; as long as it is shipped it gets the free miniature.  Ends 1st June 2022.  See our mascot Alternia on the WEBSITE.

The future warrior is great for near future, post apocalyptic, cyberpunk or other such systems and a fine addition to your collection. This month our mascot is inspired by the fantastic genre of movies and books which depict a future gone awry and in which the strong take what they can and the weak suffer what they must.  While such a world is not to be longed for and perhaps the cyberpunk one is more possible it is upon the tabletop that you wage your fights.  Alternia Future Warrior with her machine pistol and energised demi pike is in your corner.
