Dogmen of ruined Pudigrochumsberg coming for Flintloque

“A blackened and burned land is all that remains of the once thriving kingdom of Pudigrochumsberg the victims of the Ostarian Emperor Klaffenhund’s madness.  In an attempt to gain popularity during the Ferach Revolution the Emperor decided to test his newly uniformed in white and musket armed Dog soldiers against this prosperous nation....”

Its time to announce the second half of our plan for 2015 for Flintloque and Slaughterloo.  Following up on the whole new Dwarven Von Rotte Legion at the start of this year we are going to add another whole brand new army of white metal 28mm miniatures to the World of Valon.  This time it is the Dogmen of the blackened and burned wasteland that used to be Pudigrochumsberg.  That's right the mortal enemies of The Empire of Ostaria and until now a legend and little known in figure form will now be a whole army for fans of our unique black powder fantasy wargames.

It was in the late 1990's that Pudigrochumsberg first appeared in Orcs in the Hills magazine as a foil for not only some superb jokes and puns about our love for Doggies but also a foil for the mad Emperor Klaffenhund.  Over the next ten years mentions were made and a single code sculpted by Elton Waters for wargamers to add to their Confederation of Finklestein armies alongside other Dogmen as well as Dwarves and Ogres.  With the retiral of this code we proceeded onto other miniatures such as Trolkin and Elf Dragoons as well as many others but the ruined kingdom of King Bonio kept cropping up with players interested in just what was going on there and the troops who fight there.   The foundations of today’s announcement were placed into 5028 Flintloque 3rd Edition Beir and Bones on page 45.

Page 45 spoke of the Pudigrochumsberg Line of the Rache Carabinier light infantry and the Hundmorger Dragoons as well as King Bonio and special characters and I am delighted to tell you that all of these units and more will be appearing in the coming months.  In fact we are planning the entire army including infantry, command, cavalry, artillery and more ending in a full Divisional Army Pack.  The design work is being done by our lead designer the very talented Sam Croes who also did the work on the Von Rotte Legion.  We will be making releases towards this goal month by month.  We will begin with the core of the army the Pudigrochumberg Line Infantry and will soon be showing the 28mm sculpts which have just been submitted for master molding this week.

    1. Kennels, houses. Sure thing Tony. They are neighbours of Ostaria and similar in structure style but its a ruined nation, occupied so perhaps something in that vein. A destroyed tavern?

  2. From a Slaughterloo Perspective, will this be a couple of full unit deals to fill in the currently absent Pudigrochumsberg units already in existence in the Confederation list or will they be expanded into a full army in Slaughterloo also?

    1. Hello Chris. Thanks for your comment. More details to come but from the Slaughterloo perspective this will be like the Von Rotte Legion it will be a whole army of all arms plus command and casualties and artillery. Everything in the books plus a lot more. You will be able to field the Pudigroan as a whole division.
