Ten Percent off The Ion Age for a Week in Celebration

It was a mad busy month of May for me.  Alongside my normal work and all the wargaming fun (The Regimenta Sanna Annie and the Asgard Barbarians were a blast) I had the task of migrating the entire Ion Age website over to its new home at Alternative Armies in four weeks.  I managed it with a few days to spare and also managed to upload all of the free content folders and update the images of the 28mm miniature range too.  In celebration of this we are offering 10% off every miniatures in all scales along with all terrain, posters and books in print and digital download in the WHOLE Ion Age until 9am GMT 10th June 2019.  The discount is on screen and applied to all items including bundles and game packs (on top of the buy three save 10% too) so just add to cart plus now of course if you want something else from the site you can do that too.  Go HERE and look to the top right end of the ranges bar on the home screen or read on.

There are now FIVE collections on Alternative Armies making up The Ion Age.  Here is a run down of each of them plus a link to them.

Ion Age Publications and Posters.  All of the game books and our high quality A3 poster prints too.  Get into Patrol Angis with all the books in print and as digital downloads as well as a game pack plus the titles of MOTH and Firefight 2.0 if you play 28mm scale.

The Ion Age 15mm Range.  A massive choice of miniatures and vehicles in packs with the ability to choose singles from each pack.  The Prydian Army, the Khanate Empire, the Xin Trade Fleet, the Prang as well as Civilians and character miniatures.  Adders, Mullo's, Taranis Tanks as well as Skylark and other vehicles. Have a browse across the pages.

The Ion Age 15mm Terrain Range.  The SEORC company provides Hab Domes and entire Hab Complexes along with Geo Domes and many other pieces of terrain for your battlefield.  Have a look.

The Ion Age 28mm Range.  Where it all began with our space opera setting and now with brand new larger images of all the miniatures.  In packs and singles within the pack more than two hundred poses of Muster, Retained, Nobles, Planetary Militia as well as Legionaries, Nox and Goblinoid Maligs.  Play MOTH or Firefight 2.0 with these miniatures.

Ion Age Free Download.  Over the years we have created and published more than thirty free articles and these are gathered into several zip folders for easy download on this page. Players of Patrol Angis and those keen on knowing more about this space opera setting should get along and have a read.

We will have a new release in the 15mm Ion Age range middle of June 2019 as well as promised.  More on that at the time but I can say that it is a Shia Khan Empire infantry code requested by Ionfans in 2018.

Thanks for Reading,

GBS

  1. I miss the categorization from the Ion Age's site, still it's great to see it all in one place!

    1. Thanks for your comment. Sorry about that but we are working on a new look to the massive Alternative Armies website this month which will attend to some of these factors for you. GBS

  2. I never noticed how much these marines resemble the very first Citadel Space Marines. Sure, the helmet is a bit different and the poses aren't that awkward but they still look a lot like them. And I mean that as a good thing.

Great job getting everything in one place, this will make ordering a lot easier for me in the future.

    1. I think that all powered armour knights will look similar due to their nature. That said the Retained are based on War of the Roses actual historical armour so perhaps others took that route. It is space opera. Thank you. Yes, I think it is a good move for the future. GBS
