Sekoth Guardian Warbird kit 28mm scale released

 “She screamed and pulled at the ropes which bound her to the stone pillar. Her screams had been near ceaseless for an hour and their dark master had been chanting and daubing runes upon the stone flags all that time. The spell was near complete and the Sekoth were motionless but for their breathing and an occasional tongue darting out to caress a dry eye. Beyond the chamber the noise of combat rose as the attackers came nearer. With a single movement of his bony hand the master directed his guardians to the chamber entrance. The enemy was here. A human, his muscled chest streaked with blood and dirt, strode towards the pillar followed by an Elf and a Dwarf. As one the Sekoth raised their bronze swords and maces and gave battle. The spell was near complete and the master would have his sacrifice.”

Now added to the SHM Fantasy Range and sculpted by Greg Saunders an expansion to his Sekoth.  The Sekoth are a reptilian slave race of the darker powers who serve evil masters.  Now alongside the existing infantry a warbird with rider.  Go HERE.

SHM97 Sekoth Guardian Warbird: This 28mm scale pack contains one resin large warbird and a metal rider on saddle with six different choices of weapon arm included. When assembled this model is 70mm tall to riders head and 80mm long from beak to end of tail.  Arms supplied are:  Curved Serrated Blade arm, Banner Arm, Demon Fire Projector arm, Long Straight Sword arm, Iron tipped cudgel arm, Axe holding arm. This pack is supplied unassembled and unpainted without base. 

These rather unique and different fantasy miniatures are great for skirmishes and dungeon crawls.  You can get a pack or single random Sekoth on foot.

TOR14 The Whipping Post. The final code in this classic range. This pack contains all the 28mm metal pieces needed to assemble the The Whipping Post. These are a stone column with lion head, a base for the column, hook for the victim, two different male victims to place upon the column, a man with a whip and lastly a kneeling bound female victim.  When assembled it is 50mm tall. Supplied unpainted and unassembled with no bases. You can select the whole set or the column parts, the two victims, the whip man or the kneeling woman using the menu on its page.

MPS8 Orc Family Outing classic set released

So you get the go ahead from the tribe elder and you pick your way through the burned out monuments and the scattered covered corpses reaching the park in a short leisurely stroll.  The baby gurgles over his first tusk in the pram while his mother looks on with pride and dad growls as he watches the wean with his ice cream stolen from a puny Human.  It is an outing..an Orc Family Outing!  Go HERE.

Alternative Armies is continuing to return the 1980's classics by Tabletop Games and Asgard to the website in new molds and with new pictures.  With the Torture Chamber range completed (including several models never seen at the time) and the Warbirds back in the world it is time to progress with the Collectors Sets.  We aim to bring one back each month which will be a set or parts from it.  All great fun.

MPS8 Orc Family Outing

Not everything a wargamer wants has to do with putting troops onto the field. Sometimes something a little different, a bit special makes an appeal to a wargamers nature and says 'now that is fun!'. Excellent characters or a superb diorama or just for fun. This is what you get in the complete set:  Pram, Orc Sitting Baby, Orc Mother arms raised to push pram, Orc Father holding hand of Orc Child.

We began our return of the collector sets with the Orc Rock Band which is on the website.  We called ours 'Spinal Crack' but you can call yours anything you want.  Choose from any of the parts or get the whole band with the stage too.

Chariot Armoured Car multi kit released for Bradley 15mm Sci-fi range

"The Chariot Armoured Car is a commonly used vehicle and is often found in low intensity brush wars and alongside Devil Frog artillery in the field. A compact bifuel-cell drive provides good range and simple logistics, ensuring that any size Colonial force is likely to include them in its ranks"

This pack contains one 15mm scale kit in high quality resin and metal with all parts required to build one Chariot Armoured Car many ways.  Supplied is the main hull, eight wheels, two different turrets, three turret gun options as well as two sponson guns PLUS three sprues of equipment which you can place as you please.  Lots of load out options. When assembled this vehicle is 70mm long, 30mm wide and about 20mm tall.  It goes together several ways picking a turret and main gun combination and then placing the equipment on the hull or turret as you choose.

The equipment set from the Chariot can be had on its own too as code BR1506A with nine pieces. Great for any vehicle in your collection.

56599 Von Mohnblume Artillery Crew released for Flintloque

Not far from the great city of Prest near the Bonhundian border with the Ostarian Empire is the small Dutchy of Von Mohlblume. A collection of towns and villages ruled by the young Duke Kurz Nase Von Mohlblume a cousin of the Emperor Klaffenhund. The dutchy is in a rare position in that it exists within the Empire but has some autonomy as long as it contributes troops to the war against the Ferach Empire. This protected position, far from any enemies, has bred a race of Dogmen with no natural foes.

Standing chest high to an Ostarian the Mohlblume are the smallest of the Dogmen to be found in Urop. They make up for this with a pugnacious attitude and stocky strength. Though in long marches they can often be heard wheezing as they try to keep up with the other battalions. They are uniformed and armed by their own depots as they find typical Ostarian equipment too large. The Duke has led his regiments against Mordred’s marshals in several campaigns and also against the Confederation of Finklestein in the vicious Haarausfall War. Which, though only weeks in duration, saw great losses against the Legions de Nain. Confederation forces were defeated in the Battle of Kleine Beine but in the effort there was much slobbering and passing of gas in the Pug ranks.

Brand new miniatures for Flintloque and Slaughterloo with the release of the Pug Dogmen gun team and horses adding to the forces of Ostaria and the Confederation of Finklestein.  Above you see the new Von Mohnblume Artillery Crew using the 59527 Ferach Grand Howitzer as well as supported by troops of the Von Mohnblume Line.  Who are they firing upon?  That is up to you but perhaps it is the Dwarves of Krautia.

This set contains 28mm metal miniatures an officer with Sword and five different poses of Dogmen all with artillery equipment plus two limber horses. Dwarf sized 'Pug' type Dogmen standing around 23mm tall.  For use with any suitable artillery piece.  See them HERE.

Gunners support the line infantry in their advance upon the foe and with short legs and a snuffling hard breath while marching these Pug Soldiers are a great addition to your forces.  See them HERE with new photographs.
